          A Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) is valid for 30 days from the date it’s issued. If it expires before your sale or registration transfer is completed, a new inspection will be required.
          If your vehicle doesn’t pass, we’ll clearly explain what failed, why it failed, and what’s required to meet VicRoads standards. There’s no pressure to carry out repairs with us — the decision is always yours.
          No. A Roadworthy Certificate is a legal safety inspection required for selling, buying, or registering a vehicle in Victoria. A pre-purchase inspection is a general safety check only and does not issue a Roadworthy Certificate.
